Basiscursus 1 - tekstboek + online

From level 0 to A1 in sixteen lessons.

For students who have at least completed primary education.

The Basiscursus 1 – Tekstboek forms the backbone of the course. The learning process is step-by-step and leads to fast results. In 16 lessons, each consisting of three short, engaging texts, the students will gain new words and train their reading and speaking skills, with a focus on practical situations. Each lesson contains a section on grammar and an exercise.

The Delft method online makes independent study easy: by clicking on a term in the digital text, you see the translation and hear how it is pronounced. The program also provides feedback on exercises and tests. This product grants 1 year access to the online program with the material.

Basiscursus 1 can also be taken entirely online, without the need for a textbook:

The Basiscursis 1 - Oefenboek (workbook) is optional and contains additional exercises that are geared to the lessons in the textbook.

Please note: Online products are no longer compatible with Internet Explorer 10. Online products are not suited for tablets and smartphones. This product gives you one-year access to the online service that contains the learning material.

With the purchase of the Basiscursus 1 - Tekstboek, you will receive the printed book and access to the online course in NT2 SCHOOL. The vocabulary lists can be downloaded here for free.

The purchase of the Basiscursus 1 - Oefenboek is optional: it contains additional exercises that are geared to the lessons from the textbook.

Digital resources (2013 edition)
The use of the online material is essential for this course. The 2013 edition no longer works with CD-ROMs; instead, the textbook contains a login code which you can use to access the course in NT2 SCHOOL

The online versions of all Delft method courses are compatible with Mac and Windows, and with the following web browsers:

• Chrome
• Firefox

Digital resources (all editions from before 2013)
The CD-ROM that accompanies the editions from before 2013 only works in Windows. This means that the CD-ROM does not work on:
• a Macbook (Air or Pro) from July 2011 or later,
• a computer without a CD-ROM drive
If this is the case, you can work with the Basiscursus 1 - Online or the 2013 edition.

The Delft method online uses Flash. This program does not work on tablets and smartphones. The Delft method app has been developed for the iPad, iPhone and Android.
