Ster in lezen, Alfa B

Within Ster in lezen, non-Dutch speaking students develop their literacy level through understanding what is being said in a specific text. Bem, Milka, Mo, Rada, and Tuu bring the students along with them throughout the course of the book. Together with peers, ISK students develop better reading skills in Dutch. New words are learned with every text and students work with the text by answering the text-based comprehension questions.

The texts are divided into the following themes:

• Going to school
• Leisure time
• Home
• The Netherlands, and
• The future

Ster in lezen, Alfa B is the second part of the literacy series Ster in lezen. Ster in lezen, Alfa A and Ster in lezen Alfa C form parts 1 and 3 respectively.
